Artifact Name: Annotated Bibliography
Date: October 2019
Course: EDUC 230 The Exceptional Child

Description: For this assignment I chose five peer reviewed scholarly journals that discussed classroom setup, management, and accommodations for exceptional learners. Then, I read and summarized the main themes from these articles. Afterwards, I cited each article in APA format.

Rationale: To show my understanding of Standard #8, I chose my Annotated Bibliography. By creating an Annotated Bibliography I was able to apply the skills I had built through reading and reviewing children's book to create a catalogue of children's literature that covers different content areas. This will help students develop deeper understandings and be able to highlight connections throughout the text.
